Recently got my car inspected (phew).
Now theres more problems. Later in the day my cd player stopped working and my overhead interior lights went out.
Theres problemsd here, and if I could get some help please i'd appreciate it. Thanks.

more problems? what were the initial problems? electrical?

Check fuse #6 and fuse #14 in the interior fusebox. Also check the left hand taillamp fuse and audio fuse in the engine bay fusebox.

Nah the problem is that all of a sudden the cd player stopped working, and the overhead interior lights stopped working
Im gonna look for a wiring diagram and try to get this figured out.

Could a OBDII scan tool cause a short circuit?

did you check the little 10 amp fuse (usually 10 amp) on the back of the cd player itself? they are usually a mini spade style.

What do you mean by "rip it apart"? You should probably do further testing, voltage tests etc.. before "ripping" anything apart.

theres no voltage getting to the interior upper lights
all fuses were swapped and everything, still nothing
i've come to the conclusion that the sunroof dosen't work either!
man, I don't know what to do from here. I might have to take it to a professional whos good at electrical work..
