Mods as such:
- AEM intake
- 65mm TB
- Air-Ram
- 4-2-1 Maintec Race Headers
- ~2.37 inch crush bent exhaust piping
Well, I've been playing around with the digi camera I got like 3 years ago and am finally starting to understand the thing, so I made a quick vid on the way back to college.
36-80 mph (~2900-~6100rpm...), 3rd gear only. No 0-60 or anything like that considering I can't steer, shift, and hold a camera. (Maybe if I had an auto, but if I did I wouldn't be vidding it and showing how slow it was lmao.gif ). Gives you an idea of how the power-band sits, and the sound although its kinda bad (no rice here laugh.gif).
Keep in mind this is with a full tank of gas, spare tire/jack/rear seats in, and 50 lbs. of college gear heading back after Thanksgiving break, my race weight is probably 180 lbs lighter than this.
This will give everyone an idea of whether they wanna pursue the n/a route... I might make another vid after the Alpine goes on to see the difference.

I await getting flamed on Streetfire for my non 8 second Tiburon. lmao.gif

Figured I'd post a vid so they can see how a N/A Tib will run and if they wanna invest the money.

No mandrel bender around me anywhere... and I figured turbo may be down the road somewhere so I just went cheap for the moment with Mild Steel/Crush.
I'll probably buy mandrel bends from Jegs or some place and weld my own as a summer project may be, since hopefully my car will be in paint shop for two weeks I can occupy myself with that.

Ye, my Dad used to own a garbage pickup and transport business before he retired.
I have just about every tool imaginable at my disposal. wink1.gif Welders, grinders, drill press, all sorts of neat goodies.
