good hid kits can be had from ddmtuning for $50 in a variety of temperatures (colors); youre already going to spend what, $3+ on normal bulbs that wont last near as long. just my $.02

whitest brightest non-HID bulbs are Sylvania Silverstars, but they're like $20 for a pair. Cheaper to get HID that will last longer

^^^ There's been a few posts that I've seen in the last year that have had someone complaining about silverstar's short lives.

Definitely check out DDM Tuning's website. They are really cheap right now.

I had H7s blow every few months for me, regardless of brand. I had silverstars that lasted a few months, and some that lasted much longer. It has always been a crap shoot for me with H7 bulbs. Whether cheap or expensive, they didn't last long. I believe this was a common theme around Tib owners, though.

Silverstars burn out really quickly like everyone is saying, and cost in the range of $30 at autozone. For less than the cost of 2 sets you can get some h3's shipped from DDM.

I just bought a set of DDM's for my low beams, got sick of the regular bulbs blowing every 6 months and the 35watts are back in stock.

If you want a non HID bulb go with the Silverstars.... but get ready to change them often!

But why waste money on regular bulbs? Albeit shipping to AUS may add a pretty penny on any HID kit coming stateside. But then again I'm sure they have HIDs on ebay.com.au
