Tell me exactly what to set my multimeter to and I will test the new set of stocks I have and my set of Magnecors. I do not see why you say Magnecors suck. I have heard that about Nology, but not magnecor.

set it to (Ohm), if resistance will be more than that range - set to one step bigger range (KOhm), etc.

speaking of wires have you guys hears of "Ultra" its a company base out of japan i used them before but the only problem i have is that they are a 170 bucks here.. they are a 8mm siclcone wire. they are real popular with the tuners here.. as for oem i just change mine fot 20 dollors. there is a hyundai oem parts house 20 meters from my house. as for the b-12 i did not know that it was that good. the PX car care ctr has that at camp walker. i will get some of that. good info folks

I've heard about Nology being bad, but not about Magnercor. This is the first time anyone's advised against buying them.

Any basis for that Red?

Yup.

Do some searching at www.hyundaiaftermarket.com for the magnecors.

The problems I've seen and heard...

1. Expense. You pay at least double for these as you would another set of quality wires (PRD). This is the #1 problem. Remember, it's not like you are buying a turbo here, these are just spark plug wires. Is the extra cost worth it?

2. Thickness. You can't put your plug cover back on afterwards, they are too thick. You can get them thinner to fit of course, but then you don't have as much power going thru them.

And yes, Nology's suck.

I'm all for seeing some testing done on all of them.

So the only problem is cost and aesthetics. It's not like they are junk like it was made out to be.

We'll see how the test turns out. I need new wires, just not sure which ones to to get.
