Hello All,

I have developed a belt comming off the water pulley problem all of a sudden?

The belt comes off the water pump pulley towards the powersteering belt.

I did have obx water pulley but I have replaced that with the OEM pulley but I still got the problem, I don't know what it is?

Is it possible that I have overtightened the pulley and maybe bent the water pump shaft or alternator shaft?

I am supercharged too, but I did not have this problem until last week when I tried to reduce belt slip by tightening the belt some more?

Does anyone know how tight a belt should be?

Check the supercharger idler pulleys, one of mine had a bad bearing.

you should have about 5mm of deflection...so when you press down on the belt it should move 5mms

DO NOT overtighten belt you will eventurally kill the water pump bearing/alt bearings
