When I have my headlights on or any lights really i have a pretty rough idle. Same thing if I have my music playing semi loud. Could my alternator be going? or would a voltage stabilizer fix the problem?

Just because it's new doesn't mean it's good. Screw ups can happen and even a brand new battery can go bad. If it's that new you should have a warrenty(sp?) on it. Get both checked out.

A bad alternator can cause a bad battery. If you had a bad alternator and replaced it, your battery is probly bad. A bad battery can cause an alternator to work harder. If you have a bad battery, your alternator is probly bad. Either one can cause failure of the other.
