When I start my car lately it doesn't seem to turn over as easily as it used to. It sounds kinda weak... if that makes sense to anyone. I check the batt with a volt meter and not running the batt is putting out 12.5-13 volts which is correct. And when the car is running its showing about 14 or hight which I would assume is correct because the alt. would be charging the batt. I don't know to much about this kinda thing.... is there something else that could cause this problem? the starter?

Default I'm sick of this damn dash

starter is highly doubtful. altenator is also doubtful...

your battery is probably being charged, but it's just not HOLDING that charge. signs of a slowly dying battery. might as well get it changed before you get stranded somewhere.

now it's your chance to buy an Optima battery 8)

your voltages are correct... sounds like a dying battery.. replace it now before it strands you.

Thanks guys.... I saw online that Autozone or Advanced Auto both carry the Optima Batt. but do either of you know of a good place online to get them? And the proper size for the Tibs.

Auto Zone and Advanced are probably your best bet. They are expensive as it is, so those places can't really mark up the price much. Getting it "at cost" would put it at about $115-$120 so getting it around $140+- is normal. It's hard to actually find a good deal on them

Default OBX short shifter rubbing agains boot?

It was just the batt. I bought a new one this morning after my car almost didn't turn over. I bought an optima. I didn't get the deep cycle because I don't have a huge system just a small amp and sub. Enough for me. I don't really plan on upgrading the stereo so I just bought the red top optima. Cost me about $110 after tax and with me trading my old batt in.
