If I replaced the other two window switches with the Auto switches that we have on the drivers side, would they all be auto? Or is there something moreee, like to do with the lift motor or something?

Isn't it more about the relay on that auto up/down switch that lets it do that? I think you have a bit more to it than just the switch. Guess we have to wait for others to chime in. I'd beinterested in the answer too.

Anyways, free bump for you.

Both of my windows have auto up and auto down.
....The buttons are sticky. So uhm.. just spill some coke on it or something. tongue.gif

That's my suggestion. laugh.gif
(for the gullible... don't do what I suggested)

i've been interested in doing this as well. i think they are relay's, i wonder if you got them out of a newer car that had it, say the new mustangs, if they would work? you'd probly have to mod the switches for auto up though

Alice: The tiburon drivers side has it, so you wouldn't have to pull it from a different car.

Also, the SFR car-off auto-up relay:

oo, even better, auto up on engine off. do you happen to know if the kit comes with everything needed? i assume it does, but i don't see any switches so the stock passenger one would work with it right? thanks for the link, i dunno how i missed it.

I have one of those that is still brand new in the box that I'll sell to you for $60 shipped(assuming your in the US), but I don't think it will do what your looking for. If I remember right it only auto rolls up your window when you turn off your car. I don't think it changes the function of your switches.

EDIT, just read the description on that page and I guess it does do that.

MOO, install your damed switches man. Or let me do it for you next time I come out there. You'll go NUTS with it, one of my favorite non performance mods on my car.

The relay ssetup will allow you to ONE TOUCH up and down, from the drivers switch assembly, to EITHER window.

There is also a sunroof one.

When you turn the keys off, the windows go up on their own unless obstructed. Then it waits for 10 seconds and tries again.

The sunroof one does a one touch tilt, one touch open, then one touch close, and close on ignition off.

Check out the DIY's I did for them.
