I definately need a amp upgrade.
Just wish there was a simple solution.
What ARE the current solutions?
Long, how much did your new one cost and what did you do for it? What is it's rating?

I need something maybe even close to 200 amps. Right now I have 2 amps 3 subs (one a 15") I am adding... an air ride kit and motorized lambo doors and a couple monitors. The volts are running at about 11 now so i know i need something bigger.

^^^ I doubt you'll need a 200a but its nice to have more than necessary.
I have 3 amps, neons, screen, ps2, airbags, etc and i only have a 160a

Mine is from Ohio Generators, its rated at 160amps. When I have my compressor running, lights on, neons, and my system blasting, and heater/ac my alt still charges at 13.9-14.0
I paid about 400 or something. I cant remember off the top of my head.
Ohio Gen buys a brand new stock alt for your car and remake it and give you a warranty. They will not take the one you have, they buy them brand new. They have been around for a while and anyone who is really into audio has at least heard of them.

not sure how long they last. but you can find all the info on their site.
the stock wiring can handle it.... but you need to change the alt fuse in the fuse box under the hood. ours is rated at 100a
