but is the bolt pattern named?

like is there a number for the pattern?

i have a HO alt. 160amps Bolted straight up from Ohio Generators.

Most alternators require you to make a bracket to fit. I did a lot of research and never found a cheap one that would bolt straight up.

Even the ones you get from korea require a bracket made.

not a pattern, but a distance and a fitting. There's 2 main bolts which mount the alternator, the alternator itself and the bracket. I'd like to find an alternator higher then our stock 90A alternator that will fit into our bracket. Heck, even something i may be able to pull out of the junk yard and make work.

No, I don't think anyone has measured that distance before, it's not really worth anything to us.

We need a beefier alternator, I agree, but it's more than "bolt pattern" that determines if it will fit.

gks have 95amp alternators

i'd like one because my 1400W amplifier causes my RPMs to drop from 800RPM to about 400RPM when i crank it up. I believe it's time to get something bigger
