is there differences between alarm systems that will work on auto's and wont work on manual and vise versa? ...
if so how do you notice the difference on what will work with what :roll:

I think the only thing that matter with alarm systems i.e. auto vs manual is if you're looking at remote start otherwise I wouldn't think anything else would be affected by either one.

No difference on alarms.
But go with a Compustar for a Alarm / Remote start combo, and it won't matter if you have a 5spd or Auto.
It's one wire to cut on the brain for the auto on the compustar for the install.
