Do you mean when you reconnect your battery cable the alarm goes off? Explain a bit more in detail.

Thats a safety device that was wired with your alarm system. What alarm system do you have? Also when you reconnect your negative why don't you turn off your alarm and proceed with the reset?

You can pull the fuse that is under the dash by the driver door. Pull that out and it will cut the power to the ECU. Diffuse any leftovers by depressing the brakes a couple times. Wait a bit and put the fuse back in. Search around for the exact procedure but I think that is it.

its a precision alarm, dont know what the model is

i do turn it off but its annoying, and today a cop came over and was askin if i needed any help(looking suspicious) and i had to explain what i was doing, and why the alarm kept going off.. its just a PITA and if its ever happened to you and went off right in your ear, you know it is a headache/earache. The siren is right above the battery = right next to my head
