4-1 losses some low end, gains no mid, and gains lots of top end

4-2-1 small or no gain in low end, lots of gain in mid range, no or little gains in top end.

i've got the 4-1, mbrp and CAI and whole I/H/E setup. but i love it when the car hits about 3grand, then it takes off like a bat out of hell, followed by a slight boost at 4.2k because of the cams.

Really worth it if you have a 5-speed. Otherwise if your a daily driver(no racing) or have a automatic, get the 4-2-1.

I just got my 4-1 put in today, I noticed a total increase in power all the way up, but the most from 4,000 rpm up...but that remained the same because I have the MBRP set up too, and that is where my power way anyways. I have an HVE intake...I am going to get a real CAI soon.

I believe the 4-1s will give the automatics the same benefits however its not as beneficial to a normal automatic due to their slow startoffs...HOWEVER, get your torque converter upgraded by LevelTen (LevelTen will be done with mine either Monday or Tuesday) and youll be riding with the big boy manuals, thus 4-1s should be fine, if I can figure out someway of getting away with my headers...then ill put in some 4-1 Type Ds! Oh yeh! Then get your Performance Transmission System from LevelTen (Runs a little higher, TQ around 470+, PTS System 2000+) tongue.gif And youll be swamping the manuals with the same mods.
