I think it's called elasticity. Measuring acceleration from 25 mph to 50 mph (40-80 kph) on a 3 gear (do not press clucth and rev up engine)
I have 6,7 sec.

But I don't think you shift every gear when you hit 5,000-6,000 RPM.

I usually downshift when I wanna accelerate fast, so yeah I shift back sometimes 2 gears so getting my rpm into the 4500+ rpm

auto doesn't downshift into first gear with 40 km/h laugh.gif

Ok, in traffic jams, in everyday driving it's useful to have high low-end torque.
If I want to accelerate hard I shift at 6,000 RPM.
This test shows driveability of the car.

I traffic I drive like a 80 year old. Shifting at 2500 (sometimes 2k). No need to floor the succer when there's someone in front. Sometimes when there's space getting it up to 6k.
running at redline perm, i'd say about 1 year after that your whole car is .....
