My '97 Tib 1.8l 5-speed did a 16.3 @ 85 mph pretty much stock with just an intake, 17" rims with Kumho 712's, a bad clutch with 89k on it and no synchro for 2nd gear (which was bad too).
That was ealier this year.. Now i have Hankook ventus HRII's (much much stickier), a completely rebuilt tranny, clutchmasters stage 1 clutch, SR 4-2-1 header, carsound hi-flow cat, 2.25" full exhaust. I haven't taken it to the track yet, 'cause my driver side Axel is clicking, yeah the one i JUST replaced 2 months ago. Thank God for warranties. I dynoed 113hp to the wheels when i ran the 16.3 and i just dynoed again couple weeks ago.. 122 to wheels. I'm hoping for sub 16 sec runs but who knows.. I probably could squeeze close to 130whp if i had a SAFC.. Anyone selling one?? wink
