Is there a certain place on the motor that lists the VIN number? Im going to check out another tib and I want to see if the beta is original or if it was swapped. The car has very low miles posted so Im curious if its original.

I don't know if they are VIN marked but my hunch says not.
Be on the look out for something funky with the odometer, in case they tried to roll it back. Also have a close look at the hardware in the engine bay. If a shadetree mechanic slapped a fresh engine in there, there will be tool marks on the bolt heads.
