Would you ever buy a car rental or lease return?
Ive been seeing some really good deals for a few lease returns as far as the new Sonatas go. Wondering if its worth it or if I should stay away. I know people kind of beat on rentals but I would think lease returns would be in a little better shape.

1. Yes they beat on them a bit harder <-- guilty of that (rentals).
2. They only keep them for a few 10k miles. Not too much damage can be done in that short amount of time.
3. The first miles on a car are the most critical, so any beating done is probably done at the worst time.
4. The car rental companies to pretty good maintenance on them, including keeping them spotlessly clean. Not necessarily true on a lease.
I'd go for it, especially if you can get a really good deal on them.

My first car I got was one my mother gave me that she had purchased from a rental. It lasted a long time and was a good car. No issues and was spotless inside and out. I would buy a rental again because as stated maintenance is great.
If somebody damages something minor they repair it and keep it in perfect shape.

NEVER buy a car from any rental shop Ive rented from!!! I Try and kill my rentals!! for 20 dollar insurance!,.I'm up over curbs, wide open on highways in first, brake burns and feild doughnuts!..seriously,for 20$ you can drop the engine in one,and they'll bring another one right to you!.. ....Get 4 or 5 guys together, get 5 rentals and do the stuff youd never dream of doing to a car you own!!!... I would consider a leaser though, when payinx X hundred $ each month, your likely to drive her a lil easier.
