Would This Work?
This product seems like it would work much better than the G Tech. Would it really?

i don't see where it says it will measure performance. when it says it will graph your performance, i don't think it's 0-60 times and measurements like that. it doesn't say anywhere that it's an accelerometer type unit. it just plugs into your obdii port and will measure the same "performance" variables that the hy-scan tool will, like engine speed, road speed, etc...

I know, but would it do what it says it does?

yeah, it'll do obdii stuff. it won't give you any type of "g-tech" measurements. the only benefit i see from it is that it records the data, then you dl it to your computer, rather than actually having to have your laptop sitting there, hooked up to the obdii port. however, i would rather have the laptop right there because you'd get realtime data, where as it looks like this only records it for later analysis. for my money, i'd get the obdii scanner from www.obd-2.com
