Worst 2 months of hell in my life!!!!!
I'm gonna make this quick cause it's a lot of typing. Sorry if I screw anything up. I'll answer questions if you have them.
Well, some of you know that I bought a F250 and started modding that. The RD was slooooowly getting built and put back together. In November, I went ape sh*t on modding the truck. I bought wheels, tires, bumpers, winch, fenders....$5k in crap. It was the first vehicle that I was truly happy with and felt almost "done". This is what it looked like:
Not 2 weeks later, while in Target buying a Christmas gift, I came out and........STOLEN!!!!
A witness saw 2 fat Mexicans in a beat up Jimmy take it 2 minutes after I got out. A few days later, the local news starts writing about how Mexicans are coming to the US to steal large trucks for drug smuggling.
I have GEICO for insurance. a**holes!!!! They couldn't start the process until they got a police report. The police were 3 months behind on their reports, so I called them every day harrassing them about it until a supervisor pushed it through 25 days later. Then my rental runs out after 30 days and Geico didn't give a sh*t, so I had to take a week off work so I wouldn't have to pay for a rental. Still payed for 2 weeks rental out of pocket. I had to argue with Geico about the mileage, the mods, and the condition of the truck. They did NOT pay for any of the mods. I lost $8,000 in parts!
I finally get a check from Geico almost 2 months later. Go to the bank to reapply for the same truck loan they gave me 1 year before. Denied! My mortgage put me over 30% debt to income. Even though I can easily make the payments, and had been, and had banked with them for 20 years, they still denied me due to a bogus ratio/number on a computer.
So I said F-it and went to another CU and got a small loan to buy a beater until I could get another truck.
2 weeks ago I bought my $6,000 beater:
2005 Tiburon GT V6. It was the best looking Tiburon I could find in short notice. But it's clean as hell, and was damn cheap.
2 days after I brought it home, I dynoed it on a Mustang Dyno. All stock. Old oil, tranny fluid, intake...... As is!

That night I installed a CAI and Pager Alarm!!!!!
Then, in the last week:
New floor mats
NGK Iridiums
NGK Wires
HID's
Ralco Shifter
Oil change
Tranny fuild
Night shade rears
Limo Tint
Odyssey Battery
15mm Wheel Spacers
To be installed:
Polymount
Linkage Bushings
DC Headers
Ebay catback
Timing Belt
Dyno day is on MArch 5th. So I'll have a modded # for yall.
Now that I have a pager alarm, a Concealed Handgun License (woot Texas!!!), and Castle Law on my side (double-woot Texas!!!), the thieves will be getting a head full of lead if I catch them in the act.

Wow, that's really rough man, sorry to hear it.
If it helps, Allstate isn't any better. And they're considered to be a reputable insurance company. Got my stereo system stolen, and they offered to fix the broken window and pay for a stock stereo.
Nice looking GK. I'm guessing that you're a bit above sea level? Baseline dyno numbers are a bit low compared to what we see here usually.

I still don't think it's the car. The owners just got the dyno, so it could be their error for all I know. After the dyno day, I'm going to take it to a guy I know with a Dyno Jet.

Yeah, might not be the car, just thought the numbers were on the low side. I figured it was elevation, heat, or both. I know as elevation goes up our Tib loses so much power it isn't even funny. At 8k feet it can barely get out of it's own way.

There was a truck stolen out of our church parking lot during service (before we started parking lot patrols) and the truck was found. They had tossed the back seat and stuffed it full of illegals on the way back to Mexico. They dropped it at the border with a freshly-bad head turbo and cracked head, but he got the truck back. I wouldn't give up on the parts so quick, how far up the food chain at the insurance company did you go, and do you have receipts for all the parts?

I provided full reciepts and spoke to 4 different people. Eventually, we at least agreed that if the trucks found, I get all the parts not paid for.
