redline limiter is there for a reason, the car will be fine!!! floyd races it all the time and i haven't heard of any real issues with the car..

now if the rev limiter was removed and he was over revving all the time... different story..

some tunes do, but i don't think his accent is tuned.. and tunes that raise the limiter typically raise it to a safe, just less conservative level.. you'd never see a rev limiter on a hyundai increased to 8500rpm.. would cause a lot of issues.

The Floyd vid was due to the 'drift' aka tray slide

Yeah, I ride the rev limiter occasionally if I'm in a slalom or something. It's 6250rpm's, I'm not worried about it at all. I have seen no ill effects from that.

I'm on Ksport coilovers with r&r strut bars and a Whiteline adjustable sway bar HKC.
