it ws radus tib (he did most of the modifications to it) but i know atomic added coilovers and some other stuff..
the damage in the pics don't look that bad really, especially being in the rear, shouldn't kill the car.

WTF did you do to my car!! lol
Glad you're ok, hope you can salvage some stuff (AEM FIC + plug&play harness, carpc, amps, turbo+manifold).
Do you have insurance that will cover this or are you SOL?

So what was the main cause of the accident? I know you hit sand, but was it lack of concentration? Were you just tired? Speeding?
I've been in a situation with the Tiburon where I spun out but it was because it was damp and I came into the corner way too fast and the traction threw me off. In another instance, I hit the median because I was coming home late from work and they had just finished constructing a turning lane which I thought was an actual lane. Combined with lack of concentration, I f*ed my strut tower for good :/

This is similar to the accident where i totalled my first car, a Eg Hatch, was doing some "Touge" took a corner a little to fast, with a little dirt, ass end slide out, car did a 180, traveling in reverse, and bam hello tree, smashed the trunk up into the back seats. Glad you are okay!!!

Weld a new rear, new axles, new hatch, new bumper, new exhaust, new tail lights, possibly new brakes, knuckles, springs, struts, wheels, wiring harnesses for taillights and hatch release cable, and a new fuel door.
The good thing, if you can find a shop willing to weld and put it back together, is that 90% of the wrecked Tiburons I've seen are damaged only in the front. If you can find a donor vehicle for $500 from a junk yard, it might not be that bad. Not sure how many thousands labor would cost, though, and if having two halved tiburons welded together would be worth it.
