Question about the battery
Since I'm storing the car this winter in my parents garage, I plan on removing the battery and keeping it wrapped up in my spare room all winter. Here's my questions
1. Will it go dead from sitting there all winter, even though its not in the car?
2. What would be the best way to charge it in the spring, with a slow charger or just putting it back in the car and jumping it (then driving and letting it run for awhile)
3. Is there any maintenance I should do to it after removing it from the car and wrapping it up, like cleaning the posts or anything else?
Its a Die Hard Gold series battery in case anyone is wondering.

Maybe your grandfather's battery would. Put it on a charger every week or three, to keep it topped off. Also drain the gas tank and fuel lines unless you just like doing fuel system repairs.
