Best one was when accelerating on an onramp, the passenger asked if it was a V-8 or just a V-6. He didn't want to believe me when I told him it was a 4-cyl! Benefits of the stock exhaust and an opened up intake.

Mine goes the other way.
X3s were still called Excels in Australia, but whenever anyone talks about an LC or for that matter, any other small Hyundai, it is automatically called an Excel.
'Actually it's an Accent'
'Nah dude that's a Lantra'
'Nope, that's an i20'
Are my frequently used expressions when talking about Hyundais.

Ah I remember when my cold air intake sounded like a Ferrari F1 car during open throttle! That was nice. Cleaning the filter down there was too much hassle so I cut it in half.
