Default Opinions of Allstate Insurance

Right now I have Progressive and I have been shopping around for better rates. Allstate quoted me $30 less per month for the same exact coverage and deductible. Any body have them for insurance? How good are they and what are they like if you have to file a claim for something?

all insurance companies suck. If they can insure you for $30 a month less I say go for it.

ahem

f*ck ALLSTATE

i witnessed a accident, driver "A" ran a stop sign and hit driver "b"

driver "A" had allstate, allstate called me and asked me to state what i saw, i told them exactly what happened

allstate refused to pay out even with 2 witnesses

it ended up goin to court, luckily, the other witness was sent a subpoena and not me

so allstate, in a attempt to not pay out a 5k claim, wasted the time and money of roughly 12 people(judges, lawyers, both drivers, witness courts etc) and lost anyways it took 4 months for driver B to get payment to be able to fix his vehicle after everything was said and done

so intern, f*ck ALLSTATE

At least they had the back of their insured at that point. Sucks to be involved but if the dude at fault fought charges and his insurance decided to side with him and not roll over, I think that says a lot for their customer loyalty.

Yes, but many insurance companies have practices like this. Just look at the story of the progressive customer that was posted on here just recently.

Well that is BS, but being on the end of the other side of the equation I prefer an insurance co that has my back.

That was a completely different scenario, in this case you have an at fault being forced to defend himself, in the case you're quoting the insurance company of driver b hires laywers to defend driver a in court to avoid paying. Thats a complete 180 from this case. One can be guised as a decent act, the other is just sick
