I wouldn't remove either for a daily driver or even a racer, unless it strictly saw the 1/4 only.

Stocker, you're kinda right. Our cars are light enough to drive comfortably without the PS pump but sometimes, at low parking lot speeds, I like being able to turn the wheel a full 2.8 turns with just a finger instead of two clenched hands.

It's just something I feel "fits" perfect into this category. Sure it has it's advantages, and probably seemed like a really good idea. May have even noticed better engine responsiveness. But down the road I feel it's not worth it and somewhat regret it, so it's going back in.

Track car - No way, take it out. But my Track car IS my daily!

I consider downgrades a "mod". Cheap water pumps, CV axles, brake rotors, tires etc etc. Never again!!!

The only thing I regret is spending $2000 to have the auto fixed, I should have used that money to swap to a 5-speed.
Every 3 months the damn thing broke again and I am still going to put a 5-speed in. |:

removing PS and AC. I wish I had both on an almost daily basis. it gets hot without AC and it's a pain in the ass to try and parallel park without PS.

Underbody neons. I look back and think, "What was the point? What a waste of money"

ditto, fortunately that stage was short lived.

I forgot about when I removed my PS belt lol. It might have been okay if I removed everything, but I seriously hated driving the Accent without PS. Now if I could swap in a manual rack, I would be happy.
