my rental test drive
Well as some of you know I'm on a business trip
Part of it is a rental car on someone else's dime
The rental? A 2011 KIA soul
First impression, good brakes for such a heavy vehicle, very slow, and the traction control pisses me the f*ck off.
Like really off, I tried to do a neutral drop peel out and forgot to turn it off. The car didn't move at all, I'm talkin the car is in drive but it felt like I have my foot on the brake.
First beatings,
Snuck on to the roof of a parking garage at a very large mall in a large city
Proceeded to beat the sh*t out of it, I had to move a parking barrier to get up there. It handles pretty well for a heavy vehicle, but its still very top heavy, feels like your gonna flip it if you really get on it. It's still a slow vehicle I'm talkin automatic 1.5 accent slow. You floor it and I sware your just turning on a speaker that makes engine noise.
I picked up some fast food trays from x restaurant for tomorrows beatings so stay tuned....

That was a great read! Anything that starts with "Rental" and "First beatings" is good to me. You have to get some videos of this. When I did doughnuts in the 5.0L 'Stang (SOOOO MUCH FUN), I really regretted not videotaping it. Treat the car just right so you are controlling it but not so much that you are destroying it or else things will get out of hand.
Tell me hypothetically, do you think that those engines are a direct swap with ours?
