My dad is getting a lift for the garage
Im so excited. Finally...no more lifting the car up with jackstands or floor jacks or laying around on the cold ground. He ordered this one:

er... nevermind. It only goes up 4 feet. It should be fine. I was thinking it was a 7 foot lift. It would need much more base support to be able to handle that kind of leverage.

Id be a bit nervous under a lift thats not bolted to the floor but after watching the video it looks like there are removable pins to keep it in place... I miss the lift we had but we had to get rid of it when we moved into a smaller warehouse.

It's bolted to the floor guys, it's just designed to be unbolted and rolled away. eh, thats nice but I don't see myself ever moving it if I got it installed.
how much did it cost? my quick google search turned up about 2k? not too bad, full sized ones are about the same but they don't fit in a small garage. I think this would be great for the tib/cavalier but it wouldn't be too cool for my jeep, wouldn't be able to lift it too far before it hit the garage door lift.
