Default My #1 best mod by far for the Tib would be...

A custom molded center console that still looked stock, but moved the shifter about 6 inches back!!!!

A steering wheel spacer can easily place the wheel back. (My hub with NRG quick release is perfect.) The seat goes back far enough for me being 6'1". The only problem is that stupid shifter being too far forward.

Being uncomfortable all the time just doesn't help with te driving experience.

I'm 6' 3" and was perfectly comfortable in my (non-sunroof) '01 Tib. I had a B&M shifter. Don't know if that made any difference, but I doubt it.

I slouch, so my seat is all the way back, wheel out about 3". Maybe I have short arms.
The problem was the forward shifts really.

Oh, you roll in a "gangsta lean"? I drive race style... seat almost straight up. I drive like life is a competition, I don't "profile".

Like I said, I slouch. STRAIGHT back. No ghetto lean. So anyways, I know I'm not the only one that has this problem.

How about the cupholder problem? IIRC, my fist used to hit it when shifting also. Shortshifter might have corrected it. IDK, it's been a while since I drove the car.

I hate the cupholders. Work fine with factory radio, but impossible to actually use with my old Sony HU or my in-dash monitor.
