4. Zefiro Kit fitted Ok but some adjusting and some bolts, glue and some reshaping (sanding) etc. was needed to make it fit as a glove. Still find some distances that are not the same one side than another (air ducts) but in general with patience you get a wonderful looking car.

Mario,
Can you be more specific, like what type of adjustments had to be made and where exactly on the kit did you have to make the adjustments. And did you say my mechanic has to sand and glue to make it fit like a glove, how????

And for PlugBoy,
my shop gave me the estimate of around $550 for the paint and installation. I know it is a bit high, but these guy do the finest work. My father's company gets their FedEx trucks done here for the maximum professionality.

They sanded some irregular parts and then you need to fix the parts, I used small screws on the side skirts and some glue to fix rhe side skirts to the lateral metal parts. Clearences were not that exact etc. etc. I dont have all details but you need to work on it.

Fuel economy is great.

Hey Mario,

In one of the picturs posted I see someone sanding down the exterior of the kit. My question is, what is that guy sanding off. I recieved my Z-Kit today and when I inspected the body kit there are some places on the kit that need to be sanded down to be smooth, so when the paint is painted on it there will be no visiual scratched underneath the paint so it won't look unprofessional. What I'm guessing is that Zefiro had to sand down some of the bumps that weren't taken care of when they molded my kit and used a low grade sand paper to sand it and left scratches that you can see and feel. Did you use 1400 series sand paper or a higher grade series sand paper when you sanded your kit. Just wanted to know so I can inform my mechanic.

Oh also on my back bumper of my Z-kit I have one space, the right side, to put in a screw for my license plate and the on the left space where the other screw space is suppose to be there is a big circular hole the size that you can fit a ping pong ball or a golf ball through. Did you have the same thing on your bumper of the kit but just filled it up with bondo and sanded it? Or is my back Z-bumper totally different from yours.
