intake sensor mod
hey i was on ebay today and found something called an intake sensor timing mod.....they said it increases hp up to 20! i asked my friend and he said that those chips usually cost hundred's, while ebay has them listed for $5! please check this out and get back to me

its junk, dont bother.
Please try using the search. This has been covered like 50 million times.
It may increase hp on a turbo car or big block v6/v8. but not on are like 4 bangers.
The idea is sound. If the ecu thinks its always getting cold air. It will not retard ignition timing.
But the problem can accure, with the ignition timing being advanced and hot air coming in can cause detonation.
Other problem is. A general run of mill one off of a ebay wont work.
It needs to be the correct 5cent resistor from radio shack.
