I freaking miss my 95 Nissan 240sx like crazy. It had the full sr20det motor swap, upgraded tubo/intercooler/fuel system/coilovers/etc. By far the fastest, best handling, most dependable car I've ever owned, never a breakdown or problem in 3 years. That thing never had a problem. Could pull low 13's any day of the week and got over 30 mpg every tank. Paint job was crap, but who cares;it was a drivers car.



I owned it for 3 years when I lived in Arizona. But when I moved to California I had to get rid of it since it wouldn't pass smog and nearly got impounded. I got pulled over after living her for a month for not having Kali plates. It was a $400 ticket. And the cop was very stern about the fact that it was an imported engine which is illegal in Kali. He said if he pulled me over again it was getting impounded with a huge fine. So goodbye to my baby. But the second I move out of this god-forsaken Kali, I'm getting another 240 Zenki or Kouki. If you've ever driven one, you're hooked for life. There's just something about a turbo rwd that is so much fun (even more fun than driving my neighbors corvette!).



Man, reminising makes me sad to think I got rid of her ...

Nah, there's something much more nostalgic about a 240. Plus it's about 1/3 the price with the motor swap and upgraded parts!

 

Yep, my 72 Ford Maverick, 70,000 Original miles on a 200 ci straight six. Was my Daily Driver because I couldent afford another car at the time. Won a car show with it once. Breaks muh heart.

 

There was a 74 Maverick that constantly getting swapped around my social circle in High School. The poor thing was so horrendously ragged out in those 4 years it's actually shocking it managed as long as it did. I almost bought it for $75 and honestly kick my butt every once a while for not. That would have been a fun restore.

 

I saw a 1970 grabber once, Came factory with a 5.0, Was ahhhmazing.

 

I miss a lot of my old cars, especially my 84' 300ZX

The only one I regret selling was my 78' T-Bird.







Not mine, but an identical twin. I went for a drive one day and came back to find a huge puddle of oil in my parking spot and a trail going in the direction I had left. Being a 17 year old know-nothing, I became nervous about the cost of fixing this massive oil leak on an older car (had a 351 one of the most common motors in the US) so I put her up for sale for something ridiculously low like $100. Needless to say the car sold quick and as the two gentlemen loaded it onto a trailer I heard one explain to the other that the leak was from a pressure sending unit that Advance around the corned had in stock for like $25. I don't think I would have kept that car much longer than I did had I known and fixed, but I definitely regret selling it under the circumstances I did.
