How hard is it to lay carbon fiber mat and create your own things?

I was thinking about doing something like this above my muffler



If it turns out ok I would then start doing small interior parts. But I dont even know where to begin to start buying stuff to do it. Anyone know?

 

it can be relatively easy to do. As long as you follow the steps required to get it done, and do it right it will look good... there hundreds of videos on youtube about doing your own CF parts...watch a couple and take it all in.

 

There used to be a GK locally that used to that.... wasn't too hard supposedly.
