The MOTOR is rated at 140. Dyno's measure HP at the wheels.
XtreemPC did a base run @ 104 HP...so I'm still 6 HP up on the Auto-tragic. (till he hits the NOS!).
Bradley dyno's his 2.0L elantra in the 120-125 range on this same dyno, but he was unavailable that day for testing...
Different dyno's have come out with different numbers. Theoretically, they should all be withing 1% of eachother.
There are also various different manufacturing tolerances within engines. The Beta Engine has dyno'ed out at 141 stock, 122 stock and 111 Stock. (all 5 speeds). Who is to say which is the "Correct" number. The 141 at the wheels is high considering that the engine is rated at 140. 122 is about right...and 110 is a bit low....so Maybe I have a "bad" engine and the other guys have a "good" engine....
