do you have to crank your car longer in the cold?
my car fires right up all the time with no issue but as soon as the temp drop below like 40 and the car has been sitting over night it always takes a few extra seconds to crank over. I know the engine is cold and the oil is thick but i just wished it fired up immediately like it does in the summer for instance.

for some reason it seems like it starts better in the cold or after its not running but after a while of driving then turn it off it sometimes takes alittle bit but always starts. its just random

the stock one works just fine, you can pick em up from a dealership
it goes into one of the freeze plugs on the back of the motor. Dont get the dipstick kind either, doesnt really work, the maxima has the kind that you put on a radiator hose, it seems to be ok, but ive been told the freeze plug kind is best.
nice thing about those kinds of block heaters is the car heater works faster
