Convertible tibby

I thinks it looks kick azz. I'm just curious as to why it has the old school headlights. The only reason I'm not fond of converts yet is the lack of structural rigidity, but if there was an aftermarket roll cage I would consider it. smile.gif

All I can say is that it isn't what I expected back then and I hope the Hyundai Motors Corp. has some plans to make the 200 hp Gen3 Shark to be a convertible. It would be sweet if they can produce the Gen3 in Convertible form in production wise that is.

actually, i've seen many pictures of the convertible, but i've never seen it with the top up. i wonder wut that looks like. the car looks pretty dumb i think, unique but dumb. i think the tibby would look better as a convertible if it were second gen. by the way random is it possible to do that? probably cost a whole crap load of money though huh? anything is possible with the rite amount of money...

You got it. I've got photos somewhere of a first gen tiburon turned into a convert. Shots with the top up! When I dig them up, I'll attach them here.

Yeah, it is possible to turn the Gen2 into a drop top, I know a chop shop here in H-Town who wanted to do one on my shark for mad amount of money. Let's just say it was more expensive than the factory leather seats that I wanted. I seen a Toyota Camery go in there and come out as a convertible. What they can't do on car these days.
