Default Bosch Spark Plug for 2001 Tiburon?

Is it OK to put Bosch Platinum +4 Spark Plug for 2000 Tiburon to 2001 Tiburon?

I'm asking this because it seems like that Bosch doesn't have any Platinum +4 Spark for 2001 models yet.

Thank you

Platinum has a higher resistance than copper. so it is harder for your coils to "spark" with platinums in.

Copper plugs should give you a higher voltage spark than Plats...

The coppers only last 20,000 miles, but they are 1/5 the cost of Plats...so it equals out cost wise. ($1 a plug vs $5 a plug).

I have the plats and like them, but my slight oil comsumption and the fact that I got them a bit too cold has caused deposits to form. Nothing major or damaging, but I'm going to try something else (the NGK's).

I'll clean off the Plat's and save them as my emergency backups.

Can anyone tell me where to get the NGK's (locally: pep, trak, autozone, etc?) and what part number? When I've looked on websites there are usually multiple NGK types listed.

thanks,
a

Pep Boys has them down here in FLA.. I work at Discount Auto, and I know we have them.. I don't think there are any Discount Autos up there, though.. One more bad thing about the plus 4's is that if you don't do alot of highway driving, you will foul them out fairly quick. Late

Is there any problems with the NGK Iridium's? I had a set of Bosch Platinum +4's and they fouled up real bad after about 2,500 miles. Of course I drive it like I stole it. But I haven't noticed much of a difference performance wise between my factory plugs, my Bosch's, and my NGK's.

To the best of my knowledge, only DENSO makes Iridium plugs.

Iridium plugs are better than platinum, but I reccomend the copper plugs over Platinum or Iridium.

Copper is a better conductor, which means more electricity makes it to the end of the plug for more spark.

Platinums and Iridium plugs will LAST longer than coppers, but the coppers should give you the best performance possible with our stock ignition system.
