Default Best cleaner to get rid of gas?

I had an old Nissan Pulsar that I just got rid of a couple of weeks ago. It had a bad gas leak from the tank and it got all over my driveway. I didnt worry about it at the time but now that the car is gone I want to try and get rid of the stains. They've been there for about 6 months and I tried to use dish soap, warm water, and a strong bristled shop broom. The stains are still there. Its not wet, so I dont have to use kitty litter to soak anything up. Any help would be much appreciated. I heard about this stuff called purple power but no idea where to get it or if it would even work. Anyone know any other ways?

It's probably not a gas stain, it's probably a clean spot left by the gas. Gasoline is a powerful cleaner itself.
