How aware of your surroundings are you when you drive? I'm always checking my mirrors, making sure I know whos to the side of me, whos coming up behind me, and planning out any evasive driving in case something ever happened. I know some people who are clueless when they drive and almost get into accidents each time they are behind the wheel. Im always conscience of whats going on around me...not just while driving either.

 

Know where other vehicles are around you at all times so if you need to make any split second adjustments, you can do so with less danger to those around you. I'm like an ADD child, always checking my mirrors and being aware of where vehicles are.

 

^ Same here. I ALWAYS know what the vehicles around me are doing and where they are at. Even when I'm passing someone thats on the side of me...I am watching them until I pass. Too many cars have gone over the line and came really close to side swapping me, so I'm on the defense almost 100% of the time when I drive now. Its amazing how many bad drivers there are and how many dont pay attention.

 

I am very aware when I drive. I always know where every vehicle is around me and what is coming up. Half the time its cause I'm watching for cops, but still. I see enough stupid drivers daily where I live so I like to know when other people are near me lol.

 

I have problems with motocycles and mopeds. They seem to pop into my blind spots even though I'm trying to keep an eye on everything around me while driving.

Hey great reading for safety there, I'm going to try that and see if it works. I thought about the fisheye mirror thing before, but never used it because I felt it looks funny. But because it looks funny is also not a good excuse for "I didn't see her" also. For me the worse spot to see is the passenger right side back. That is where I need to adjust my mirrors for. Thanks!
