I just received my carbon hood. I was just wondering where the best spot to have hood pins installed is?

Pics would be nice

BTW these are the hood pins that i ordered

What hood? if its a VIS or another good hood you wont need them

No i don't need them, but better to be safe then sorry IMO

Its from deftracing. He told me that i don't need it but...... I would just rather be safe

I can't wait to see how those pins turn out. I need new pins, and I don't want to keep getting cheapos that rust within a year. I have my current crappy pins between the high-beam humps in the hood. I like them there more than anywhere else.

I know a couple of guys that have them an they swear by them. They are flush mounted to 99% below the hood

Do you have any problems with the middle rising up at higher speeds on the highway, due to your pins being so wide?

the latch is right there, and the hood fits good. i havent seen a bit of flexing at all.
