I am trying to sell it... but i got it back from the shop that was working on my flywheel, and the alternator went out....so another week at the battery shop everything is fixed. Go down to VA BEACH and on the way back on 264 the tranny locked up and made a lot of bad noise...lol.....so i take it back to the shop where they fixed the starter and flywheel(the starter was getting binded up). He told me and my father the next day that the tranny just magically thought it was time to go out. So the guy that towed it home said that homie that owns the shop has a bad habit of forgeting fluids and he recommended check that before I do anything. so i get home take the wheels off and then drain the gear oil....and thats all that came out...mind you we got pictures and video of when i opened the drain bolt. NEEDLESSTOSAY me and my father were extremely pissed went to the shop and when we mentioned taking legal action he said "its ok I've been sued before". then i followed up with "yeah probably for the same thing" he snapped back " Yes it was, but it was an employee that forgot to put fluids in it not me." lol we got this on my voice recorder...so hes screwed and I get myself a brand new tranny
PS it doesn't sink for some reason it has actually rained like 2 days and it still is fine lol

so you got a free tanny out of it? most asshole shops will say that it's not their fault but who can blame them? eh if they're so bitter it's a good thing if you got them.

I know you say free, but it will cost court costs, and time, and it might be months before anything is decided. I'm guessing you're going to a small claims court, which will side with you, but will extremely lenient to this jerkoff of a mechanic. I've known people who sued and had the mechaninc say that he'd fix it all for free.... only to have them put it off for months then do an even shittier job of it. Make sure that you request that the work be done at the dealer only.

Yeah thats what I am doing. Telling the judge that he was incompetent to do it before and ask that he pays for the dealer to do it right. Everyone knows that the dealler is the most expensive and this guy will learn a lesson.

new tranny is in and has quite a few miles on it ....YAY...lol.... install went smooth as butter. I have noticed the change in gearing, ALOT. 2nd now goes to 65, 3rd to 98. I was unaware of the difference in gearing but I definately like the new one.

WOW!! 3rd to 98? My 4th only goes to 90! What tranny did you get in it, just a regular replacement from the dealer, or what?
Oops, did I say I've hit 90 in 4th out loud?? sad.gif
