Default XD Cam install

what all should I do when i install the cam is there any tunning involved should I mess with the timing or anything what else should I buy?

you need nothing else. well, that's not true. you need a torque wrench with small torque values for the cam journal bolts, (they tend to snap easily when overtightened just a bit) and you should get a new camcover gasket. most likely you will pry yours off with a screwdriver, i did. so you don't want leaks. but i did the install months ago without new journal bolts or a torquewrench, i just was REAL REAL careful. doesn't mean its a good idea, but hey, im poor
