hi i had a air fuel ratio gauge hooked up in my car today and the signal wire is green white and is under the hood by the 02 sensor it is a harness into the o2 sensor.

that's was gonna be my next question. so did they hook it up to the wire right when it comes out of the ecu or right at the o2 sensor??

just follow that wire and before it gets to the ecu, splice into it. im not to sure how a/f gauges work, but im guessing they just pick up the o2 sensor voltage being shot back to the ecu and display it with a moving needle. anyone tell me if im wrong though.

in a 97 tib righthand drive its buy the drivers accelerator pedal up behind the fuse panel, wink.gif

Might be difference in years or standard/auto...but there is nothing under that console in my car. Mine sits under the "junk" slot behind the shifter.
