AEM FTW!

But since it sits at like 6 inches for the ground i'm running a custom WAI for winter...

For the curious:

At slowmotion motorsports the dynoed a spectra cone filter (advaced autoparts brand) and with out changing the tune or anything switch to an aem and got 8 hp difference. This was on a mustang however on a dynopack dyno.

I have an injen style intake. May also have to convert to the custom wai for the winter also. Is anybody running an injen or aem during the winter?

I ran an AEM CAI on my tib. Worked great. Loved it.

You can run a cai all winter for sure. Mine is lowered, without fogs, and the aem. Never hydrolocked or any damage.

you dont have to worry about taking your CAI off in the winter or even in the rain, unless you plan on driving through 6"+ of water. I ran an AEM on my tiburon and a K&N on my srt-4, filter sat about 5" from the ground on the srt-4, ran it all year long.

The AEM is protected by the splash guard on the tibs anyway, and most people have fog lights. i doubt any tiburon owners ever plan on driving through deep water during any season.
