Can you answer the questions above Anthony?

And these...

1. Who's going to reprogram a CVVT ECU for you?

2. What are you expecting the CVVT to do? Again, it is NOT EVEN SIMILAR TO V TEC.

3. WTF are you planning on doing with the V AFC? Controlling the CVVT with it?

LOL

Come on man...

ok

1. i know a guy that tunes ecu and he can help me
2. i want the cvvt because under 4000 rpm my motor will not have a lot of power so it will help me have a littel more power under 4000 rpm
3. yes Controlling the CVVT

ya because it is a 2.2L now. if you rev to 9000 rpm with the 2.2L it is like reving to 10 000 rpm on the old 2.0L that is why honda took the revs down for relayabilty

Okay, you know a guy that tunes ECU's, has he ever tuned a HYUNDAI ECU?

These are a different breed my man.

How do you know that VAFC is going to work with the CVVT? What are you expecting it to do?

I'm with REDZMAN on this one. We've had some guys working on the Hyundai ECU for sometime now, with very little progress.

V-AFC runs Vtec. CVVT does nothing like what Vtec does. Vtec creates power, and CVVT keeps emissions/gas consumption down.

And like faith mentioned. You're gonna have a piggy back ontop of a piggyback then run it with a retuned and untested ECU.

I forsee terrible things, horrible nasty stuff, that people have nightmares about.

Please reconsider your plan, you seem like a bright guy. Look at where this is going to get you, and what your numbers are going to be.

NOT WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT!!!!!

I agree, because we aren't being listened to.

Here's how to get 9K RPM my mang.

Use direct NOS injection with C4 plastic explosive pellets timed to go off at Redline.

Enjoy.

ABQ, I kinda guessed where this one was going and I told him a few posts above if it's only rpm's what he wants, he should buy a Honda... or... he can get a Type R sticker and custom made a tacho gauge that shows rpm multiplied by 2, that way he can reach almost 14,000 rpm! nana.gif nana.gif

You can do that, and yeah, you might need longer rods, unless you want to figure out what the compression would be.
