Default What do you know about O2 sensor?

i got a helpful picture here explaining the wire matches, but there is still a cel after doing this. anyone elses look (below) like this?

What did you do? Replace the O2 sensor? If you did, did you reset the ECU afterward?

yes and no

there is no adapter in between wires, you know the plastic adapter things like the pic displays,the wires are actually just crimped

There is nothing wrong with crimped wires instead of the connector until you want to remove the o2 sensor.



What CEL code are you getting?



Are the wires from the ecu side matching up to the correct ones on the o2 sensor side using that wiring diagram u posted?



Wires 3 and 4 are for the heater circuit and wires 1 and 2 are for the signal. I believe it is wire 2 that should be the ground from the ECM.

but its clearly evident that yel/grn and red/wht match up to wht
