I was only driving with it off for a couple minutes I assume... My car idled all funky and died. I then fixed it, so that should be fine. As far as the IAC, if you can do better that 25 shipped, lol.

 

can you damage the it IAC if you clean it with brake cleaner?

 

nope, I thought mine went bad, so i went to the junkyard, and errr umm, "borrowed" one from a beta motor, and i put it in and still had the same problem, a rolling idle, so i read around, and someone said brake cleaner, but then to let it dry thouroghly after.

I sprayed my original one, and it worked perfect.

I cleaned and tested the other one too, just to make sure it was good.
