What kind of manifold is that, where is the TB, and what is in that big airbox looking thing?

 

That is an equal length turbo manifold.

The headers curve like that so that all 4 pipes have the exact same length, and 4 seperate distinct exhaust pulses hit the turbo. It is a VERY desireable setup...and VERY expensive!!!!

i was gonan say that looks like a supercharger setup with an aftercooler

but then again lol i may be wrong

 

The TB is on the end of the purple box, you can see the throttle cable laying over it.

 

The intake manifold is a custom job... I think made by Carex Auto Shop. The airbox thingy is probably a Spearco Air to Water intercooler.

The car is a Tibby with I think 590 Wheel HP. I haven't been to the drags lately... too much politics. I know the owner / driver... I gave him the hint about using a water to air intercooler.

I also believe this is the pre crash picture. I heard that he couldn't stop / turn in time after the run and ran into the embankment.... ****TY tracks.

 

it probably is post crash u can see the area in front on the left strut tower is a lil warped
