i didnt feel/hear anything significant when i put the tranny on, also when i push the pedal down, it goes freely sometimes, other times it feels stuck, when i have my mom do it as i watch the slave cyl it onlypushes out and doesnt go back as it should if the pressureplate was pulling it back

Thats because you didnt snap it in place like I said. You need to PULL THE LEVER TOWARDS THE TRANNY.
The TOB is not snapped into the plate, so the plate isnt pulling the TOB back after you press the pedal.

QUOTE (01importshark @ Dec 11 2005, 01:51 PM)
nick, did u manually push, or pull that lever with like a wrench or something away from engine, thus making the fork push the TOB towards the tranny snapping it into the pressure plate?.. is there any pressure on that lever or does it freely move?

You actually push the lever towards the tranny, not the engine. When you do this, the TOB moves towards the motor/flywheel.
When the slave cylinder engages, it push outwards on the lever in the opossite direction. This pulls the TOB towards the tranny side.

im pulling it pretty far and its not working.... it looks like the slave cylinder piston is almost all the way retracted inside the slave cylinder 02.gif

couldnt find edit button.... anyways i got it working.. i guess i rebolted the armature on in the wrong position and its working now, just need to get the front brakes in order and its good to go

That's because you were supposed to snap it in before you put the slave cylinder on. Take off one of the bolts and rotate it out of the way so you can pull the lever more.

Are youpositive you put the TOB on the right way? With the flat side facing the tranny side and the rotating ring facing the motor?
