You put the TO bearing back on the fork, and the NUT back on with the lever. Then after the tranny is bolted up, you pull on the lever to push the bearing in it's place. You'll hear it snap into the pressure plate.

What do you mean by position? It only goes on one way because of the notch. Once it's back on, pull the lever towards the tranny and you'll feel/hear the TOB snap into the pressure plate.

you have to take the bearing out of the plate and place it on the fork and then push the tranny on.... i got the car almost finished, im going to have to dig it out of 6" of snow tomorrow to finish it up.. not much left

Well yea. You need to pull them apart. But that's if you're using the same clutch again. Otherwise they are sold seperately. Are you using a used clutch plate and TOB?

the TOB or the clutch fork lever?? u greased up the fork and put the TOB on the fork before you put the trannyt back on correct?? i didnt read, but did u get new TOB, or did u bend up the other TOB.. if u left the TOB on pressure plate, then it might not be engaging the fork, making it useless.. heres how i did mine..
then pushed it on there.. and u need to make sure that the TOB snaps into the pressure plate, so u dont have pedal pressure or anything..
if i remember right, the fork lever only can go on one way, but is it in the right position if theres not only one way to put it on there?
