take it very easy first 300mi. Don't go over 3000rpms and so on. After then until you hit 1000mi or so, still be very gently, try not to go over 4500rpm.

Isn't it only 5th gear on the Elantra that's not as aggressive as our tranny? I remember a thread on it here.

I'd install one too if I had it handy. I don't like sitting at 4k rpm when on the interstate.

1st is the same, second they shift at around 70mph (we shift at 55-57), third they shift around 90( we shift around 78), you see the difference?

Clutch should be just fine. Stage 3 is perfectly fine for daily driving!

Very Agree.... but not the first 50Miles.... after that is heavenly...

Its better to get the flywheel at the same time.... you will save some labor money...

oh, i know. i'm having the tranny, clutch and flywheel done all at the same time. plus i know the guy, and for all that PLUS the rack and pinion it's only $500 in labor, and i can supply my own parts. still almost 3k for all these repairs though....-_-

Ultra, I've driven your car and it's not that bad. Clutch on my Camaro is way harder to press and I bet you it was even worse when the car was brand new.

LMAO. Dude try driving it in stop and go traffic every few days. For long runs and such it is fine, or if you (like OP) give a crap load of gas (2500+ RPMs) each time you try to move the car then yes you would be fine. My bike grips harder than my car but thats what the bike is made for, and it is NOT something you would drive evry day or in stop and go traffic.

I drive my Z in traffic every day. It's not as bad, but still pretty damn tough comparing to OEM tibby clutch.

I've driven your car once and it was for 15 minutes, give me a few days and I'd get used to it.

Stop whinning man. It's very street drivable smile.gif
